Wilkes University has decided to invest $1.4 million to replenish its 1700-computer network with all Macs in the next three years.
One goal is to create a virtually virus-free IT network.
They might be able to do that if the kids would stop downloading music and games and stay away from the porn, too.
Wilkes is betting that MACs technology supports the latest learning trends.
Additionally, the MAC presents the opportunity to learn both operating systems in one machine....and THAT they say prepares the students for future success.
The may be right.
How about you, MAC or PC for education purposes?

MAC=Media Access Control. Platform independent.
Mac=Common abbreviation for Apple's line of Macintosh computers.
A small distinction, but worth noting.
