Some of the best lessons I have learned in life come from people I never met.

I would like to share some of the 'words of wisdom' that I have picked up over the years.

Andrew Jackson said: 

One man with courage makes a majority.

(One man with courage in the face of a crowd is truly unique as well.) 

Peace, above all things, is to be desired, but blood must sometimes be spilled to obtain it on equitable and lasting terms.

(Jesus said, "Blessed are the peacemakers...not the peacekeepers.) 

You must pay the price if you wish to secure the blessings.

(nothing is free...nothing.)
