Some of the best lessons I have learned in life come from people I never met.
I would like to share some of the 'words of wisdom' that I have picked up over the years.
Dale Carnegie said:
The man who goes farthest is generally the one who is willing to do and dare. The sure-thing boat never gets far from the shore.
(I must not be afraid to try. The surest way to not accomplish something is to be not give it an attempt.)
You can make more friends in two months by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you.
(We have two ears and one mouth - listen twice as much as we talk...perhaps more listening is needed still.)
When dealing with people, remember you are not dealing with creatures of logic, but with creatures of emotion.
(People don't always follow their heads. They usually follow their hearts...men, too!)
