The previous owner of a rare copy of the Declaration of Independence shared these words of wisdumb, "I used to be a packrat but now I am trying to get rid of things. The best I can recall, we had a little debate about whether to keep it (the Declaration) or donate it, and she won."
Notice the diplomacy. The woman talked the man into giving a way a rare copy of the Declaration of Independence for about $2.00...and he is not blaming her. He probably doesn't want to sleep on the couch.
The copy is said to be worth $200K-$300K...maybe more.
What is even more amazing is the guy didn't know what he had, his wife didn't know, the thrift store people didn't know when they bought it off of them. Nor did the thrift people know when they sold it again.
Lots if wisdumb to go around.
What's the rarest/most valuable item that you own?
