For five months, the dude got to work on time and more quickly by taking his friend, Gilligan, with him every day.

But then, a quality control cop noticed that Gilligan was looking rather lifeless on a morning commute.

When the driver was pulled over, the officer figured out why Gilligan was looking down, face pressed up against the window.

He didn't have any legs. He didn't have a lower torso, or a pulse.

In Gilligan's previous life he worked as CPR dummy for the New York Police Department.

The dummy, the driver that is, had these words of wisdumb, "I'm not a bad guy, I'm just trying to get to work."

The fine was $40 plus a $50 surcharge.
