Covering the business of education and training

An article written in The Recorder, newspaper for the Central Connecticut State University, entitled "Rape Only Hurts If You Fight It" was supposedly "satirical jab at the sensationalistic nature of the modern news media."

The opinion piece detailed the 'benefits' that rape has made to civilization. Described it as a 'magical experience.' Called it a 'blessing' to 'ugly women.' And reassured women they could "know the joy of intercourse with a man who is NOT drunk."

My question is - Where the h... were the faculty advisors for this newspaper?

How utterly ridiculous?...the article, its publication, circulation and the fact that the kids had no supervision!

Rape is a horrible four-letter word and something that should not be made light of.

Editors had more words of wisdumb -"I don't think we appreciated the climate (understanding the campus community) we're in."

I'll say.
