Harvard hosted a forum so students from around the world could discuss their views on China and India, the globes two fastest growing countries in many respects.
Topics such as:
1. sustainable development
 2. poverty alleviation
3. the state of villages
4. developing legal institutions
5. relations among China, India, and the United States.
were discussed.
Harvard, of course, is not the ONLY institution that does this sort of thing. However, like it or not, Harvard's grads become business and political leaders in many areas.
The more they know about these countries the better. No?
Free - open discussion is what being a student is all about.
