The percentage of Japanese high school new graduates (88.1) and university new graduates (87.7) is up 2.8 and 1.9% over last year, thanks to a better economy and gaps being left by retiring baby boomers.
Male college student employment rates are 88.5%, females are 86.8%.
Junior college grads came to 70.6%.
Best of all...vocational high school students getting employment...98.4% 
Hmmm...need/want a job right out of high school? Go to a vocational school.
