The two schools will train English proficient Fudan students in educational administration at the Cal State Fullerton Campus and then send them back to China where the MS in Education graduates can work as leaders.
60% of the required courses will be taken at Fullerton and the remaining courses will be taught by Fullerton faculty and completed at Fudan University.
Fudan doesn't have the infrastructure to provide education degrees and Fullerton faculty will be able to learn about China's culture and educational system.
University exchanges and partnerships are favorite activities of mine. I once served as the go-between for a Russian and a Japanese university.
Kids studying together...becoming adults...especially in education fields can make a big difference over a generation or two.
Would you like to get a degree from another country and use it at home?
