Changing cellphones is not as big a deal as changing service providers...the early cancellation charges would kill him...or, at least they would kill me.

From 1998-2002, he changed his phone JUST 14 times....after that, the frequency picked up...sexy new functions, different sytle handsets, cheaper services...agh!!
China is expected to get 3G mobile phone service soon...upon which the college dude will take aim at 600 changes....
China expects to have 520 million cell phone users by the end of this year. And, if all of them were like this guy....what's 520 million times 500 times $50-100/cell phone?
