There is a scene in the movie Capricorn One where the guy tells a joke as he climbs a mountain to escape pursuers.
His brother who had not been home for sometime calls to see how things are.
He first asks, "How's the cat?"
"He's dead."
The brother alarmed, rebukes him "You have to tell me bad news in gradual steps."
"How so?"
"Something like, the cat went up on the roof and couldn't get down. We called the fire department. They went to get the cat and just about the time they were to rescue it, the cat slipped, fell off and died when it hit the ground. You see?"
"Yup."
"So, how's mom," the distant brother asked.
His homebound brother shot back, "She's up on the roof."
In Germany, a 91-year dude climbed up on the roof to do some retarring on a good spring weather day that soon turned hot. He slipped...and became glued to the roof.
Police had to be called to rescue him.
Still...the man is indeed a dude...91-years old, climbing on a roof, retarring...I hope I can do that when I am 91, except the getting stuck part.
