
An MOU has been signed with the Specialist Schools and Academics Trust to train 265,000 teachers in interactive learning skills by 2011.
Intel will also provide:
1. teaching resources
2. lesson plans
3. digital media
4. student training advice
The Intel laptop will be specially equipped for students, have covers that can be personalized by school, anti-theft locks and cost about 500 pounds.
I admit...I didn't know Intel made laptops. Did you?
Intel apparently has a long education relationship with England, first forming an initiative with Oxford in 1998.
Why wouldn't Intel team up with another PC maker instead of creating their own?
