A professor and the man who runs American Renaissance were planning to debate the idea of racial separation on the campus of St. Mary's University in Nova Scotia.

"The University is committed to fostering academic freedom and free speech in our diverse society; we also have an obligation to provide a safe environment for members of our campus community and those who visit our campus."

Couldn't guarantee the safety of the participants.

Apparently, people don't want to hear another view...unless it is theirs.

So, why does freedom of speech mean someone gets to say something they want to, but the other guy doesn't get to voice his/her opinion?
