The list of 100 Most Prolific Bloggers - those with 1,000 posts or more continues to grow. How about you? Do you belong on the list?
----
Here's another question - if post count is not the best criteria for determining if a blogger is prolific or not, then how about word count....or word count per day over the course of a year?
At best it would have to be an estimate I suppose...but how many words have you written at your blog?
Nope...not cut and pasted...written, typed, your own words...that sort of thing.
For lack of a better starting point...how about 500,000 words?
I am looking for bloggers who have written 500,000 words or more in a year.
I can realistically guestimate that I have written abt 756,000 words in the 385 days since I started writing for KnowMoreMedia. That's an average of about 1960 words each day.
Who else has written 500,000 words or more in this past year?
Here's a place to blow your horn. I want to hear from you.
I want to know who has a lot to say and what you are saying it about.
Let me know in the comments or you can send me an email at bill at panasianbiz dot com.

Oh...I heard the other day that 40,000-50,000 words are needed to create a novel.
500,000 words divided by 40,000 words = 12 novels in one year...
Yup! That's prolific...
What do you think?

As a professional journalist for the last 18 years, and a "blogger" for ten of those, I'd probably have to lay claim to at least an order of magnitude more words than that, although I've never worked it out, I'm sure it would average a couple of thousand a day, and even at 2000 a day average for 220 days a year that's almost 8 million. Jeeeez, that's a lot of books, if only.
