Imagine this prof sitting around at the breakfast table, all antsy, and his wife asks.
"What's up, honey?"
"Well, the competition is really hot for the Stockholm Water Prize."
"Huh?! Eggs or just cereal?"
"Yeah, I have been working on this scientific approach to the design and operation of water and wasterwater systems."
"Here you go, dear."
"I am wondering if I have included too much of my research on the role of fundamental microbiology and chemistry in the design of bioreactors."
"Coffee refill?"
"Well, the announcemment of the winner is due out today and I couldn't sleep last night at all."
"Paper!"
"I've won...I've won."
"That's nice dear."
"$150,000 nice, sweetheart."
My son was hanging out at Stanford this week with a friend while on spring break.

Yup...even in water...and richer for it, too.
Would you like to go to Stanford?
