
Children as young as eight and nine years old, old enough to write and follow a request, are receiving solicitations from perverts and other weirdos.
Myspace thinks it is doing its part to combat the problem by combining a database of "all publicly available sex-offenders" into a real-time searchable form.
So...little boys and girls will now be able to look up the ficticious names of people who are soliciting them.
Myspace is doing a good thing but it is NOT the best way to keep predators away from children.
Good parenting is. Parents need to more closely supervise their children's time on the Net. There is no better way.
