An anonymous donor revoked that amount in donations because the president decided to remove a brass cross from permanent display on the chapel's altar.
The presidents words of wisdumb - "a cross displayed in the Wren Chapel should
be stored in a sacristy to make the chapel welcoming to students of all faiths."Uh...nooo! Chapel, cross, Jesus...seem to go together to me.
With the $12 million the school lost for this president's idiocy, another auditorium could have been built to house students of all faiths. Of course, if you try to please everybody, you please nobody.
The president is saying, "It represents a serious setback to the college. And while I know it is intended to make a policy statement, ultimately it only hurts our students."
No...the president is hurting the students by trying to be all things to all people and in the end being nothing.

Why shouldn't a chapel be allowed to keep a cross?
