Korea's LG has too much money to waste, and the little girl who took $25K from them perhaps ought to be practicing her multiplication tables, cleaning her room, anything else.
Instead, the 13-year old competed in the LG National Texting Championship for the $25,000 prize.
In 15 seconds, she typed, "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" from "Mary Poppins." (Is that how that's spelled?)
If she were really good, she could have typed it backwards.
The young lady beat out 200 other East Coast competitors before beating the 21-year old West Coast champion.
The little woman estimates she sends more than 8,000 text msgs a month to her friends and family.
Her mother and father might want the $25K to pay for the phone bill.
8,000/24 30 = 333 267 each day / by 16 hours awake = 20 16.7/hour = one message every three 3.5 minutes! (Boy, do I feel stupid!)
So, when does she have time to do anything else?
