It has also wrestled with its accreditation from the National Council for Accreditation of Teachers in Education and the State of Florida.....until now.
100 education students will graduate tomorrow from FAMu with FULL ACCREDITATION from NCATE.
Since 2004, the school operated/taught with an “accreditation with a condition” because it was non-compliant on one of six standards -
Standard two includes:
1. assessment
2. data collection
3. analysis
4. evaluation
to track how students are learning.
The college provided 500 pieces of info to support its claim that it now meets that standard.
NCATE agreed and one hundred students are going into the classroom with a degree that is from a fully accreditted college.
Congratulations FAMU! Congratulations Grads!
And we thought only the fopros wrestle with accreditation issues, didn't we?
