
"The researchers examined data on almost 106,000 women who took part in the Nurses' Health Study II, which began in 1993. The women were ages 29 to 46 at the start of the study."
Of the 106K woman studied, 16K reported having an induced abortion and 22K reported having a miscarriage. There were 1,458 new cases of breast cancer diagnosed.
Harvard says, "They found no link between abortion, miscarriage and breast cancer."
Women can take heart knowing that losing a child, by accident or by choice, does not mean they will be at greater risk of breast cancer.
