His parents and his lawyer want the kid to 'catch a break' for his 'childish joke.' "Let the kid graduate with his friends,' they say.
Without knowing the firsthand details, I say, let the kid and his parents sweat it out till graduation.
Knowing that there are consequences for your actions might be the most important lesson the kid, his parents AND his lawyers can learn.
Should the kid be allowed back in school?
