Student-athletes, it seems, are the ones who want the text messaging eliminated = "leave us alone!"
On one side, it is fun to be wanted, to be recruited, to be sought after....but after a certain number of visits, letters and phone calls it starts getting old real fast.
My son was recruited. One of his very good friends was seriously recruited.
Leave the kids alone.
