How times have changed.
A substitute teacher showed up at a high school in San Francisco with a small kitchen knife in her purse. When the kids went on break, she pulled it out and apparently started talking suicide.
A couple of students notified school administrators and the teacher was carted off to a nearby hospital.
The union says the woman has not history of erractic behavior and her conduct was completely 'out of character.'
So...what do unions do if they don't ensure that kids have quality teachers standing before them?
Should the union be held responsible in this case as well?
I think they should be.
