Given the choice of being wise or being wealthy, which would you choose?
It seems to me that if I were wise, I could determine the right way to accumulate wealth or decide if being wealthy was the right path for me in the first place.
Whereas, I could have all the money in the world and still be an ass, as in jackass...as in stubborn and, well, stupid.
So, why choose wisdom -
1. Wisdom will keep you from the intent to do bad to others
2. Wisdom will let you know when a person is planning to do wrong
3. Wisdom will prevent you from getting lost in the dark (figuratively speaking)
4. Wisdom will help you choose your friends wisely - not those who do bad
5. Wisdom will save you from getting wrapped up with crooks.
6. Wisdom will not let you get involved in adultery, succumb to smooth talk.
Wealth is likely, though not always, to do just the opposite.
