Shrinks are having a field day with this one and CNN has finally found something to follow up the Virginia Tech massacre with. (I am not making light of the VT massacres - real tragedy.)
A sixth grader at a middle school in KS attacked a mother duck and its two ducklings with a pencil, killing them, then proceeding to mutilate the bodies of Daffy and Donald wannabes.
Frasier, Dr. Phil and the bunch are saying "taking anger out on animals can be a 'red flag'."
Gee, really?
well, ii is legal to hunt the Mallord ducks...in season. In other words, had the kid waited, obtained a license, he could have pulled a string and shot a pencil like object at the ducks and killed them and no one would have said anything.
Las Vegas teachers are not worried in the least. Legislators are busy at work making it possible for all teachers to be able to carry pencils to school from now on to protect themselves.
So, what would make a sixth grader take to a duck and her ducklings with a pencil?
Something is not right there.
Start by looking at the parents.
