
Apparently bright, having graduated from one of the better high schools in Fullerton, but not bright enough to get accepted into Stanford, the girl climbed through windows, made friends and convinced those around her she was just like them.
1. She got her first set of roommates by telling them she was out of housing due to a technical mixup. She then 'squatted' n the 210-resident dorm for the fall and winter quarter.

3. Student staff accepted her lie that Stanford Housing approved her transfer.
4. No key, and not Stanford ID, the girl climbed through the window each night to enter her room while her roommate stayed with her boyfriend most nights.
5. She sneaked into meals and labs.
6. She bought books and studied with friends for texts she never took.
7. Once busted, the girl broke into her never home roommate's email account and responded on her behalf to student housing and deleted emails from student housing.
Charges of stealing services - one night unauthorized stay at Stanford goes for $175/night - could come to $42,000 if pressed.
The girl is out now.
I hope someone somewhere is trying to help the young lady and that someone is taking necessary steps to better protect the legitimate students.
