John Schneider, alias Bo Duke in the TV series Dukes of Hazzard, put up a copy, NOT the original, of the General Lee on eBay.
He had hoped someone would bid $3 million. $3 million for a 38-year old Dodge Charger?!
The car has history..."All the living original cast members and crew from the show, which started in 1979, signed their autographs under the hood of the car. It was also featured in the movie 'Dukes Go To Hollywood,' and Schneider raced it in The Silver State Classic Challenge in Nevada."
Schneider says he plans to take a vacation and then blow the money on a sequel to his 2006 movie "Collier & Co." Never saw it or heard of it for that matter.
Bo also said, ""This is really, really quite amazing."
It's also serious proof that some people have too much money and none of them lose it near me.
How rich AND stupid does someone need to be to be able to blow $10 million on a car from a TV series that aired in the 70s?
What was it Forrest Gum said, "People only need so much money and then the rest is just for show."
