I am hanging out at the TiECon 2007 in Silicon Valley...today May 18th and tomorrow May 19th.

What I am looking for here are several things....
1. Entrepreurship and Venture Capitalist activity, trends, inclinations in Asia.
2. # 1 above particularly in China, India and Japan.
3. What difference can education make in these markets and the future of growing companies throughout the world.
What I learn, or in some cases don't learn...I will share here.
For example ...yesterday one of the panel members after the opening keynote address mentioned that one of the keys to India sustaining its current economic growth of 9+%....foreign investment into India's higher education market...much like the Yales and Harvards and Stanfords have done and are doing in China.
Education is business...and in this case, key to a country's sustained. growth.
