Fudan University is one of China's best...has been for 102 years.

The school also realizes the benefits of an international perspective for its teachers.

Over the next five years, the university will send 100 teachers, aged around 35-years old, overseas for nine months.

While gone, the teachers will receive full salary and allowances.

When the teachers return they will be watched and evaluated over a three year period to see what difference the experience made.

I think all teachers should have the chance to live overseas, learn from the experience and take that knowledge back to their classrooms.

A teacher cannot get enough exposure to the world. Well, maybe they can.
