"Go to your room. What do you think money grows on trees? No supper for you!"
I guess I'll have to buy one for her on eBay. Lord knows I can't keep buying new things for her to keep losing.
"Uh, that one looks nice. Just like the one she had before...Honey!!"
A 41-year old first grade teacher had taken the coat from the little girl, hopefully when it was hanging up and not still on her and asked her friend to sell it for her on eBay.
When Mom recognized that it might be her little girl's she notified the seller that it might be stolen property.
Suddenly Mom got outbid...
Unfortunately the seller's dog damaged the coat and the coat later ended up back on the school playground where it was once again discovered. dum de dum dum.
Police and investigations, lies and shame...the teacher, who's salary is $68,891 fessed up to taking the coat from 'lost and found.' School officials said it never was in lost and found.
The teacher has been arrested and the little girl let out of the prison of her room...but she still missed her dinner.
What kind of stories does your first grader tell you that you don't believe?
