29 fessed up, five said, 'Not us' and six were found to have not cheated.
Of the five, two were subsequently found guilty. One cheater who had confessed...resigned.
Of the remaining 30 - 12 were put on six months' honor probation. No more cheating, good grades and such and they would be back to cadets in good standing.
18 were recommended for disenrollment from the academy. Two recommended for disenrollment resigned.
Nine of the remaining 16 appealed.
The end result...all 18 were given the boot.
Terrible price to pay to cheat on a weekly test....but then if they would cheat on that test as freshmen, what test would they cheat on to get into the cockpit of an F-22?
"Golly, shucks, I don't know which button is the eject button. I copied that answer off of Gabe."
