Here's a culture difference I was unaware of, despite spending time in Russia.

Apparently 13-year old girls can celebrate the first day of knowledge with vodka...Russia's finest.

Sergey (thanks!) sent me this video clip of three girls who apparently are celebrated out on their first day.

Perhaps the knowledge they are gaining is that a little bit of vodka goes a long way.

Not to fear, however, the Russians, the girls included, can build up quite a bit of tolerance to the effects of the booze.

The subtitle at metcafe asks - "The girls 13-15 years old, drunk too much of RUSSIAN vodka, then they celebrate the first day of knowledge. Look for result :((( Do You remember youself in school days?"

Uh, yes I DO remember NOT getting drunk. I don't think these girls will remember their first day either.
