I have heard it said in jest that God should have installed a switch on people's reproduction parts when they were created.

Then... people should be required to pass a test before they are turned on.

I came upon five reasons just today why the 'pass a test' approach should be taken seriously.

Here are five parents who most certainly would have failed.

A father critically injured (knocked her off the bed, kicked, shook...) his 3-month old.

Parents left their three year old sitting in a stroller at Disneyland while they rode on Pirates of the Caribbean.

A plane was forced to make an emergency landing because these parents couldn't keep their four year old from throwing a tantrum for NOT getting his apple juice fast enough.

One women helped her partner abuse her partner's 10-year old daughter.

And in Japan...

Woman faces 15 years for killing her 4-year old for disrupting her date.
