Japan's Automobile Research Insitute has unveiled a model street.
Reason...to study road conditions for traffic accidents.
The street is 260 meters by 120 meters. It will also employ state-of-the-art communications devices.
Media and industry-related workers were invited to view the street, complete with straight and curved sections, to see road conditions just before accidents occured.
I wonder, however....did they make it rain, snow, or get foggy?
And did they invite people to step into and back out of the street?
What about the knuckleheads on their cell phones talking instead of driving
?
And just how fast can a car
go on a road that is only 260 meters long with curves in it?One last thing....how many of the drivers did they import from the east bay of San Francisco? Guaranteed that they are the worst drivers around.
How bad are the drivers in your area?
