China's education ministry will make it mandatory for all elementary and secondary school children to dance...to alleviate their worries and fight obesity.
The dance will "suit the physical and psychological characteristics of students at all ages." And class begins on Sept. 1st.
The dances will be performed during breaks or during extracurricular tiime,
There's a movement about that would require Chinese students to prove they are physically fit as well as able to get good grades in order to earn a place in a Chinese university.
Sounds reasonable to me.
