For Syracuse University...the answer is girls in hockey uniforms. The school doesn't want to see the boys in their Speedos eitherr.

More opportunities for women overall if a hockey team is fielded...or is it iced?
What they really want to say is that if there are less opportunities for men, then participation opportunities for women and men will be proportionate to their respective enrollments.

Every girl who wants to play sports ought to be given the chance to do so...and a scholarship IF she is of a caliber to deserve it.
But, why are men sent packing, a small pack with just a swim suit in it, when they are hard working and qualified?
More boys WANT to play sports than girls. Why not let them play?
Title IX should be titlelist ix and somesone should hit it far far away and come up with a better plan.
