His wife was leaving him or more accurately wanted him to leave her and his home.
When the Texas Rangers, not the baseball team, showed up, the man doused himself with gasoline.
The cops used pepper spray while trying to take him into custody. The knothead through gasoline at the police. They zapped him with a taser gun and WHOOOFF!!! he went up in flames.

Whatever...it won't matter to the guy or his ex-wife. He's done, cooked, finished and out of the house for good....but, not until the bitter end.
