The Japanese can really do mini-skirts, micro mini-skirts, when it comes to school uniforms.![]()
Once I was innocently riding on a train during the morning school rush hours and I tried NOT to watch several girls roll in the tops of their skirts at the waist so that the hemline
would climb up over their knees, then up their thighs, then...well, maybe you get the idea. They did it right there on the train, in front of God and everybody.Mom or Dad never knew the difference because when they left home, the length was no problem.
School officials at Woodhey High School in Ramsbottom, Bury England have their own solution.
No more skirts....at all.
The new regulation...black bootleg trousers. Sounds sexy enough, eh?
Well...maybe if they add the new pink and white open-necked shirt instead of the old white shirt and school tie.
I am sure the girls will come up with something to do or undo on the open-necked thing.
So, why is it that girls, in school, mind you....are so eager to show off in this way?
I think I was born much too early.

I think that uniform is a bad thing. I understand why school uniform exists but I think that it might contribute to creating an AVERADGE faceless adult... Isn't it horrible? I believe that people should be able to express themselves, and a lot of our traits come from the very young age.

I don't see anything wrong with school unifroms. I believe that ther are a good thing, not only that, but it prevents controversy among high shcool students. Being in high school I understand that yes it is a good thing to have your "individuality", but you can still have your personal style. Yeah you have to look like everyone else, get over it. Its only for a few hours anyway. Ok so girls have to wear a knee length skirt, big deal. Why not wear a pair of shorts under neath, that way when schools over you can get rid of your tacky uniform?

ITS about time these Tight stretch lycra mini skirts were banned..the schools should confiscate all of them ,and send them to a textile recycle plant , where they would be shredded and cut up for fibre /mattress stuffing etc etc..also its good as wearing trousers stops them from wearing Opaque Black Tights, which are just as much to blame as the skirt.
