
The updated version of the English dictionary has some new words in it.
Hoodies - young people who wear hooded sweatshirts and hang around street corners and shopping malls.
Croydon facelift - the tightening effect on the skin of a woman's face caused by securing the hair at the back of the head in a tight ponytail.
Season creep - the gradual changing in the length of the seasons, as shown by the earlier flowering of plants and the migration of animals.
Barbecue stopper - a controversial current affairs issue, or a social gaffe.
I have a couple I'd like to see added.![]()
Coffice - setting up your office at the local coffee shop. I do this quite often.
Rulk - run, walking a marathon. Grandmas and gravity challenged people spend a half a day covering the marathon distance and then say they ran it. Nope...they rulked it...run + walk = rulk.
