Chinese ingenuity is remarkable.
The ability of some, many?, to make use of anything, everything, to not waste is an admirable trait indeed.
A 58-year old man named Kong, no relation to the King, has created a robot elephant. He had a lot of material to work from considering his profession as a rubbish collector.
His inspiration was tourists who took pictures of cattle sculptures.
The man thinks there might be some money in his idea. "People might want to ride on it or take photographs." Disney might want to build a theme park with the ride as a main attraction, too.![]()
It took Kong six months to come up with the parts. The animal is 1.5 meters tall and 2 meters long. The legs are steel tubes and its nose is made of wood. A second-hand motorcycle engine makes the
creature motor.Kong is not satisfied either... dinosaurs are next...then a story book...a theme park...a Hollywood blockbuster...a sequel...a prequel...the world!
What do you think? Is he on to something here?
