I have never been accused of thinking things too far through. I usually take off on something, change directions where necessary or just stubbornly push the original idea through to completion or to a dead stop because of some insurmountable obstacle.
I am at it again. I was reading a men's magazine...learning why I am not a man. Cars, mountains, barbecues, bikes and such don't attract me. But, I did come across one article, in a rag of 168 pages that interested me...cleansing...doing the anti-toxin thing.
So, I started...yesterday...to cleanse myself. I finished the article on Saturday...started the next day. It shows how much I think things through.
I picked up the Senna Leaf (Smooth Move)...there was nothing smooth about the 3am visit to the pot.
I got some sea salt - ( a quart of lukewarm sea salted water). I feel like a bloated dead whale after drinking that.
Cayenne pepper...a little should be changed to very little. That stuff is seriously potent. Whoa!
Lemons...we had some of them.
Grade B Maple Syrup...the only thing that seemed a bit desirable.
And...I drank and drank and am drinking and will drink, for the next 10 days...maybe 14...maybe 3...to see what will happen.
I will post here daily...maybe more...about what is going on inside (mentally and physically).
What I want to know is who else has tried this master cleanse? And how did it go?

I've done the Master Cleanse. I actually would like to work up to doing it quarterly. My mom also did the clease pretty regularly when we were growing up...
For me the first three days are usually pretty easdy given I have mentally prepared myself to fast. After that I have to stay focused on the things of the spirit and not on my hungry atomsche. The result is usually inceased energy and no desire to eat for at least two or three days. Its great if you can get through it. I think it is definitly worth doing on a regular basis for health and physical as well as spiritual well-being.
