It's not fun any more.
College students can't just go to school, take classes, cut up in class, get hollered at by teachers, make good grades, pass notes, flirt with one another, make bad grades, take notes, take tests, argue for better grades, lie about not having their homework done, doze off, cheat, get praised by their teacher, become the envy of their classmates and now, they can't even graduate.
UC Riverside had to postpone last Friday's commencement ceremony because they received a threat against that one ceremony and found an incendiary advice.
What! "If you graduate from college I am going to blow the place up."![]()
Isn't the logic a bit skewed? If you don't graduate then I will.....
Security measures had to be tripled for the r
escheduling of the event for today. Six fat guys in uniforms instead of two will be patrolling the area.Seriously.....what has become of the world, or is it just the U.S., that our students can't bust their butts for four, five, six or thirteen years and then walk the aisle to get a degree?
I wonder what security will be like next year when my son graduates.
Maybe we'll just ask them to mail his degree.
