The Taiwan Institute of Marine Biology held their first graduation at the National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium in Pingtung, Taiwan....underwater.
The Taiwan Institute of Marine Biology is in cahoots with Taiwan's National Donghua University.
Speeches were given -
"Glub, glliibbb..blubble...gluppy..." by the valedictorian and deans and such.
The best part, however, the granting of the degrees.
Grads received their certificates from the the president
of Donghua University in the pool!Great idea! That's one sure way to keep grads from throwing their hands, yelling out and other shenanigans when they receive their diplomas, no?
How did you celebrate your graduation?
Hopefully, it wasn't the way these five kids and their families did when they graduated from high school.
