A 12-year old's dad is in jail for threatening to shoot his (the son's) baseball coach for not letting him (the boy) play more innings.
Swearing and threatening and accusing and lots of he said she saids...but in the end, the dad is in jail....arrested on suspicion of assault and making terrorist threats.
Why don't all the adults stay home?
Let the kids play. It's called playing. NOT prepraring to go to the MLB, NBA of NFL when you are seven.
It's for the kids to enjoy, NOT for the parents to live vicariously through them.
It's for kids to learn how to act, NOT to learn how NOT to attack.![]()
It's for the kids to learn social skills and team work, not become embarrassed by their parents and
ashamed to show their faces in public again.
I have two kids. One is a sportsman and now saves his old man swimming on a scholarship for a Division I school, and I have never embarrassed him at a swim meet.
It's long past time for parents to grow up or stay on the porch.
