Maria writes Sprint Dumps 1000 Customers because they are high maintenance.
I'm a little out of my league here seeings this is my education and knowledge blog...but I have 433.65 reasons why I don't like, make that hate SPRINT.
And, thanks to Maria, I can think of about a 1,000 more...including cancelling the contracts of overseas military.
When I came back from Japan after a 20 year hiatus of being out of the states, I had no credit, in the U.S. So...get a cell phone I was told...build up your credit.
Stupid me headed for the Sprint counter.
An hour later I was out the door a happy camper, ready to talk to the world.
15-16 months of $40 bills, all is well. Then $473.65!
Whoa! Something is wrong here.
A call to Sprint..."You used your phone too much."
"Uh, I don't think so...Nothing changed from the previous 15 months of history."
"Nope...you used your phone too much."
"Uh....I don't think so."
Standoff...
Calls to the Navy FCU and the charges
were reversed and a fight ensued. 7-8 months of "Pay us!" "No!" and then Sprint somehow got a hold of my debit card number and billed me again.Another call to the NAVY and another reversal and some very loud exchanges with Sprint.
5-6 months later, some nice guy from Sprint calls me up and asks me what will it take to settle the account.
I told him I'd pay the regular $40 I always paid and say good-bye.
He agree.
20 some months of haggling with the lousy cell phone company.
Yeah...I hate Sprint AND the way they treat their customers.
Lesson learned - I am a much better shopper now than when I got back from Japan some 5 years ago.
"Can you hear me now?!
