I've always been a pretty lucky person...unfortunately...it's always bad luck.
Today then should be a special day for me, no?
Why is Friday the 13th such an unlucky day?
1. October 13th, 1307 (could have used a 6 here, but) is the day "the Pope of the Roman Catholic church, in combination with the King of France, sentenced a monastic military order known as the Knights Templar to death and ordered the torture and crucifixion of their leader."
2. Friday, the 6th day of the week - Adam and Eve sent packing
3. On the 6th day of the week, the great Flood of Noah's time came
4. Jesus was crucifice on 'good Friday' - nothing good about that.
5. Judas was the 13th member at the Lord's
supper6. Scandinavians 13th mythological Loki is evil; Hindus think 13 people should not gather in one place; there are 13 menstrual cycles in the lunar year.
And if you want people to know what's bothering you today...tell them you have paraskevidekatriaphobia - a fear of Friday the 13th!
Do you think today is unlucky?
