An 80-year old benefactor and long time chairman of the board of the Roger Williams University admitted that he used the N-word during a board meeting.
"I apologized for that," he said in an interview on WPRO-AM. "What else can I do? Kill myself?"
I suppose some people would like for him to do the latter. It's tough sometimes to find forgiveness.
Besides...he is generous - he gave at least $7 million to the school and the only law school in Rhode Island has his name on
it.He is also innocent (as in pure)...he lived to be 80 before the word seaped into
his vocabulary - "The first time I heard it was on television or rap music or something," he told WPRO.
Makes sense - 80-year olds listening to rap music, huh?
Long past time for this dude to step down and do the R-word.

Ralph Pappito should have retired a long way back I mean comon the guy is probably senial and doesnt even really know what he is saying or who he is saying it too. He cant be that bad with his name on the school and all, although the do have the Gabelli School of business and he was thrown in jail for some white collar crime, I think he embezzled millions probably where he got the money to pay for the school.
