A Solution to the Lack of Organ Donors

The UK's chief medical officer has a solution to the lack of organs and organ donors and the British government's Department of Health said his report would be given "careful consideration".

The answer - change legislation to an opt-out system.

Make people come forward and say 'no' instead of volunteer to say 'yes.'

In other words, everyone suddenly become an organ donor unless they have jumped through the hoops to prevent their body's from becoming scalvage heaps BEFORE they die.organ.donor.jpg

There are not enough organs donated to meet the need for transplants.

There may be an ethical issue for some when there is 'presumed consent' say opponents.

That's easily solved...put it on the ballot. If the

ballot wins...it's opt-out. If the ballot loses...it remains opt-in.

In Britain, seven of 10 like the idea of giving their organs but 50% of the population finds it too troublesome or they are too lazy to fill out the necessary paper work.

Okay...let's just take parts from 70% of the people who die?

Are you signed up to be an organ donor?
