A new wildlife reserve in Outback Australia will honor the Crocodile Hunter with the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve.

There will be habitats for "the endangered northern quoll, a carnivorous marsupial, and the speartooth shark as well as an important gallery of dry vine forests."

Only problem is, it's in the Outback...not really on your way to anywhere.

Maybe we can get the OUTBACK restaurants to do something...

Irwin spent millions from his television earning on animal conservation projects...making us laugh and cringe along the way....yeah, and

Steve Irwin is not just an Australian icon, but a hero to and beloved by the world over.

Terri Irwin will continue the Croc Hunter's conservation work and their 8-year old daughter, Bindi, has launched a TV career.
