A police sheriff arrested an elementary school principal because he was smoking pot, and had some in his possession at the time.
In a school district that has been at the forefront of fighting student drug use, forcing mandatory drug-testing, bouncing students for just refusing to submit to the tests, the superintendent should have found it a no-brainer when one of his principals was busted.
So...he kept him on. Gave him his 'full support' and allowed him to continue as the principal of Washington Grade School and Mist Elementary School.
"It was an unfortunate mistake and a poor choice to
make," said the supe. "But I've had a meeting with him, and he's planning on making things better, making things right."Say what? Any bets that the supe is/knows who the supplier is for the principal?
Something ain't right in OR. But, then most of us know that.
